About Walking Together Ministry

Walking Together Ministry exists to encourage people in their daily walk with Jesus Christ.

The Christian life was never meant to be lived alone. From the first disciples who walked the roads of Galilee with Jesus to believers gathering in churches today, God has always called His people to walk together in faith, hope, and love.

Through devotions, sermons, prayer, and biblical encouragement, Walking Together Ministry seeks to help people grow in their relationship with Christ and discover His presence in the ordinary moments of life. Whether you are firmly planted in your faith, returning after a difficult season, or simply searching for answers, you are welcome here.

The name “Walking Together” comes from the story of the disciples on the road to Emmaus in Luke 24. As they walked, talked, questioned, and struggled to understand what God was doing, Jesus came alongside them. They did not recognize Him at first, but by the end of the journey their hearts were burning within them because He had been with them all along.

That story reminds us that faith is often a journey rather than a destination. We do not always know where the road leads, but we can trust the One who walks beside us.

Walking Together Ministry is led by Rev. Elliott Gordon, a pastor in the Global Methodist Church who serves congregations in Northwest Alabama. As a bivocational pastor, Elliott understands the challenges of following Christ in everyday life. His desire is simple: to point people toward Jesus and encourage them to take the next faithful step in their journey.

Our mission is straightforward:

To help people walk with Jesus, grow in faith, and encourage one another along the way.

Thank you for visiting. We invite you to read, listen, pray, and walk together with us.
